Description This is an old picture drawn with felt tip pens and biro. I think if I did it now it would be better drawn, but would probably lose spontaneity. It exhibits my continuing obsession with the eye and I suppose very much betrays my growing up in the 1960s when psychedelia was the fashion - as it is becoming again. What goes round comes round. Not sure what it all meant but hope you like it.

Thank you for this. Sometimes my paintings are just a mood piece or feeling but I do see this type of picture as a story piece. It doesn't always make sense to me straight away but over time things become clearer. I think the viewer will also draw stories from it

Thank you Joa my friend. My mind is often cluttered with so many ideas. When I drew this it was almost as if everything was arriving at the same time - there are back stories to a lot of the characters, but i suspect others will create their own back stories as well.

How many interesting images and scenes in this work! The skeleton and woman with a green skin is awesome!

This is probably the most complex piece I ever did. I had so many ideas and tried to cram them in one picture - perhaps not always a good idea as it could have become many. At the time I drew a lot of skeleton men and exotic women - fantasy and myth have never been far away. I suppose one day I should develop some of the themes further, but my notebooks are so full. One lifetime is not enough to tell all the stories.

I love similar pictures! They are really full of interesting images and scenes. This is similar to our subconscious mind. Thanks for the explanation. Good luck in your work!
