I think this kind of shading fits your style.
I recommend to practice to shade Mr.Darulio's muzzle more accurately. The light source is on right, so I figured that on his left side of face should be deeper shadow besides his muzzle, don't you think? No shadow there makes it look like he doesn't have long muzzle at all.

I meant the shading I gave for darulio, sicne he is going to be enxt to me in the ID. But thanks, I did that background just to have one, not blankness ^^
