After starting the beta I guess there should be some text but it's invisible for me, so I just click until I can move. I can talk to BMO, can't interact with anything else because again invisible text when clicking. When I try to enter Marceline's house it just freezes everytime.

I was actually able to get onto the unreachable cliff successfully. You do have to have the double jump cheat enabled in the game save data. The cliff doesn't have anything on it but its interesting. You have to go to the cliff with the strange face, get as close to the edge as possible and jump, at the farthest point of the jump spam the sword and then double jump, then spam the sword, and dash then spam the sword again. As stated earlier there isn't anything there but it is cool none the less

I have created this more detailed walkthrough while trying to make it less spoily (spoilers were put at the end in their own section).
It is based on the work of Texhnolized so credit goes to him as well.
Anyone think we should create a form for this? We can use it to manage feedback and possibly create assets for the game if the author would like and people are willing to help.

You might want to add a mention that in the VR version, if you lean forward beyond the dialog window while talking to the different characters, they'll close their eyes and purse their lips as if kissing you. I've verified for Marceline/Marshal Lee, Princess Bubblegum/Prince Gumball, and Breakfast Princess, but Bmo and Flying Fish Princess don't seem to have an animation for this.

It is a nice idea to be less spoily, I feared to change the game exeprience by being to blunt in my explanations.
( But well, many people had troubles and i had a lot of work to do, so i did as fast as i could in the most classic way )
If I can give a few sugestions :
-> Many people still ask question about the walkthrough on GameJolt, you should put your link up there too.
-> Your work is very detailled but it doesn't really talk about the eel boss fight, even if many people had trouble with it.
There are many fast tips to make the eel ( even v2 ) rather easy, you should add them ?
As long as it helps people to find their way in the game and have fun, i'm fine with it, so thanks for your work !
On another note (doing it here cuz i posted way too much here already, sry for flooding ! ) :
Maybe in the final version, there will the 3rd dimension with Flinn, Jo(a)cque and the ice president with an even harder boss fight than eel v2, i say Mike can give you dems Dark Souls vibes ! :3

The sea monster is challenging, but it isn't that hard. I defeated it with the normal sword and a single potion and was playing with a touchpad instead of mouse (didn't know about the other sword and the extension until second play through).
On a final note, a 3rd dimension may not be a bad idea.

I found the rope fairly early on (way before finding the mechanical door) and the game doesn't seem to register that I have it (completely halting any further progress, as far as I can tell), so that's probably something to go on the bug list.
Seemed quite good up until that stage though.

Okay, it's soluce time !
I will put the "main" walkthrough here, I still have to figure out some secrets but their not in the main part :
- EDIT : It's obvious but it spoils like hell, so please if you don't want to get a spoil, don't read, pass your way, i wrote this to help the people stuck and wondering what to do now or what they could still find. I'm not trying to be mean, but to help.
- Part 1 :
Play Hide and Seek.
The last time you find it, you're close to a peephole, there is a horse thingy inside : Stare at it like crazy until his pupils grow ( He will teleport behind you ) Get the horse.
Finish Hide and Seek : Get the Hammer.
- Part 2 :
Go to the right, there is a pathway ( Let's call it the sword pathway ) with fireballs, get the sword at the end.
Go back to where you found BMO at the end of the hide and seek, destroy the plancks with the sword.
Move into the next part of the cave : There is a maze ( If I refer to a maze later on, I'm talking about this place )
This time the path is : left -> right -> middle
Now it's time to climb without falling down, get a star at the top of a ladder ( that give you the dash ability, which is overpowered, it has an invincibility frame that last for 2 good seconds, it's the best thing ever in fights, spam it for high mobility ) and get the bombs
- Part 3 :
Beat the mobs, climb the 3 rocks, don't go to the glowing entrance in front of you yet, on the other side you have 2 clear paths, one on the left, one on the right : Go to the right and get the "air dash" star.
Now you can go to that glowy entrance : You're on the beach.
Finish the beach, kick the eel ( it's a boss, look at the water during the fight to avoid getting hit and do clever dash ) and save the princess up there ( Princess Breakfast ) she is usefull for additionnal secrets and she even give you a key, needed to progress.
- Part 4 :
We won't go in for now because the trigger to reach the other dimension is broken, you can yet go in to pick notes about the lore of the game and it's also giving hints for another maze problem.
( Let's focus on the metal door not far by that you can reach by jumping on the back of the horse that have been following you around since part 1, if it's not the case, check part 1 once again )
So we're in front of the door to the ice room. There is a path on the left if you look closely. You can get here by air dash. You're now over the entrance to the pathway to the sword . Look closely in this pathway, to the right, there is a another way ( Not the one leading to the metal door beware, it's rather hard to describe so check your surroundings carefully ).
You're far above the beginning cave, follow the path , there is a face. Click, nothing happen, you will have to ask BMO about it !
Look below, there is Marceline house, jump on it carefully and with air dash : Go to the very top and get the Rope.
Then talk Marceline about the face/door, she send you to BMO, he says "push the eyes".
Go back, do it, push ( You need to push multiples times, the order is : left, left right left ), get a disc. Sweet.
Go to the metal door ( either with a few jumps when you're in front of the door to the ice king room OR by jumping on the horse back ) and tie the rope to the only rock you see here.
Talk to BMO, hack the door. Now you can get in.
- Part 5 :
Break the 4th wall 100 times. ( Edit : This is me trying to make a joke, there is no wall to break, just look at what PB says you will understand ).
Spam PB about the machine until she gives up and let you use it ( It's optionnal ).
Spam PB "Jake" until she talks about the ice king, the horse and jake.
- Part 6 :
Beat the king ( Unavaible atm ).
From now on, you kinda finished the "story", there is still a major "quest-line" that people have trouble with.
- Part 7 :
Now look carefully at the posters all around and the note on left side of the room, they're the key to the new maze/new enigma that makes you reach the Genderbend dimension so many ppl talk about :
( After all, it's from the King's mind so it's not weird that he is the key to enter that world. ASK the king to follow you )
I would say turn off the NSFW content if you wanna be sure to not miss the arrows that appears now on the posters when you stare in first person.
Go back the maze (where you found the path to the bombs) :
NOW, the idea is to trust ONLY the directions gave by the princess ( either you know the serie or you simply look for those with jewels ) in the end you have the way :
middle -> right -> middle -> left
Enter the light. Get Fionna ( Playable character )
- Part 8 :
Time to go to the Beach, same place as in the normal world.
Optionnal to go on "easy" mode for the hardest Boss ( it's not dark souls level don't worry ! ) :
Now go to the beach and turn around the only rock on the beach, you will find the fish princess ( ask to BMO to genderswap you first i think ).
Bring the princess to marceline's cave and throw her into the water after talking to marceline.
You can now have 2 potions. Grind monster, see the princess you saved on the beach and ask for 2 potions (500rubis, freakin' costy).
End of Optionnal.
Genderswap, time to fight the eel v.2. It's stronger, deals more damage, hit faster, ( I think it also have a new move, some kind of ground swipe that he use instead of the face stomp ), depends on you ( it's still possible to do it on first try, or without potions ).
You get a new outfit.
- Part 9 :
Climb to the top, where the bombs were.
Get a new outfit ( Much Fabulous ).
End of the "storyline"
Took me one hour to write this and "finish" the game in the meantime to make sure i didn't make a mistake, so i hope it will help.
There are still some secrets around, but i can't really keep going, so i make a quick list, don't hesitate to comment to help the others out to find those secrets :
-See Marshall/Marceline under the shower, hint : Princess Breakfast is needed ( Both are rewarded with a succes-trophy that will appears over marceline/lee's counch ).
-Get the double jump ( EDIT : You can't get it normally, if someone has it, it's because they altered the data )
-There is a nude mode ( I dunno, i didn't find anything like it but some people talk about it and Mike have nude models in some other DA post ).
-Get to the freakin' cliff above the maze ( I failed, some dude on GameJolt says he did, EDIT : You shouldn't be able to do it )
-More i guess.
