An interesting take on self-loathing and/or depression issues, not to mention a (pun intended) colorful example of some of the social issues that young women have to deal with in our modern image obsessed society...

Mhm yeah im rather ashamed at what our media is feeding us. The American public along with many others are being fed this garbage, look good or your worthless. But thats how i take those kinda of things. If i want to look fit or look good i just have to get myself there on my own not just because someone on tv says i have to.

I see somewhat of a deeper message here than when I first looked at this piece, and I rather like it. However, just a little bit of advice (unless this is just a random doodle work and not as serious as some of your other works, if you get me), I think you should've used more textures to make the paint more... like paint. I'm not asking for realism here, I just think it looks like a smooth liquid (like pink lemonade... that turns purple) instead of paint. But don't mind this, you're the professional, not me. Just paint as you like! :)
