My neighbor asked me to help him scribble some comicstrips for his school thingie... The theme is "Effects of over-population"...Even if i don't really know him... (He looks familiar tho... Maybe an old schoolmate or something...) It's just hard to say no to the request since the friend of his mom always gives us a hand when we need help-- ANYWHO HOOoow...
At least i helped! Right? Riiight?

Panel1: "Everytime I buy food, it's always 'imported'... What's with that?"
Panel2: "That's because of our population! Since there are so many people here and we don't have enough supplies, we import from outside instead!"
Panel3: "If we're that many here, why won't we reduce then?" "..."

Very cute and funny. Even without the translations I was able to figure out what was basically being said with the people action. Which is really good work if one can pull that off.
comic 3 and 6 ones left me lost till i say the translation later.

pero bukod sa family planning, pde rin naman kasing magsipag ang mga pilipino at gumawa ng sariling paraan para mabuhay. kunwari dun sa sinabi diyan, nagkakaroon ng shortage sa bigas. hindi ba tayo pde magtanim? andami kasing nagpupunta sa cities para maghanap ng trabaho, eh pde namang ituon ang pansin sa ibang mga bagay/business. >.<
ahaha. nag-diskusyon daw eh. well, opinyon ko lang naman to. at saka ang subject kasi ng comic strip eh family planning, kaya i agree din sa thought ng comic strip na ito.
saka isa pang dahilan kung bakit mahirap ang family planning dito eh hati ang opinyon dito ng simbahan at ng health sector natin, kaya siguro hindi mai-implement ng maayos. ahehe.
