Description
My neighbor asked me to help him scribble some comicstrips for his school thingie... The theme is "Effects of over-population"...Even if i don't really know him... (He looks familiar tho... Maybe an old schoolmate or something...) It's just hard to say no to the request since the friend of his mom always gives us a hand when we need help-- ANYWHO HOOoow...
At least i helped! Right? Riiight?

Haha, still in college, I can relate to the 1st and 4th panel though.
I hope that by the time I graduate, there will be more jobs and stuff like that. Its good to read a Filipino comic every now and then.
Kayalang ayos lang din. Masaya dito sa Pilipinas.

yung bill na triny nilang ipass para bigyan ng sex education ang grade five, and gawing free ang contraceptives and condoms sa lahat ng nagtratrabaho.
Haha, sorry. Though you were one of those who were pro-RH

I don't see what's wrong with giving sex education to 5th graders or even giving free contraceptives to everyone of legal age. I support that bill.

arlihama In reply to psybustermk2 [2009-08-29 12:44:42 +0000 UTC]
Well giving anyone of legal age free access to these things can lead to infidelity, which leads to hurting children, and destroying families. Other than that, even the unmarried people--it's going to lead to a lot of HIV/AIDS and other STD's to spread around this country. Contraceptives and condoms can't prevent them. And there's no cure to that. If people stick to having sex with their spouses, then there wouldn't even be STD.
I just think that companies who want to give free access to contraceptives should be allowed, and the people who do not decide so should be left alone. Same goes for schools. The bill is trying to force people to do what they don't want to do. A lot of people support that bill, sure. But a lot of people equally don't support that bill. If the bill is about giving freedom for people to have sex and such, then equally, companies and schools should be given the freedom to choose to provide or not provide these things.
Really.

Granted there are certain sections I don't agree with (forcing companies to provide the free contraceptives), I still like the idea of a mandating proper sex education at schools.
It's still a bill so there's still a chance to change portions of it.

I hope so. :/
It should be one to give an option to companies to provide free contraceptives to their workers
And to give the schools a choice for it
Catholic schools should be given to at least educate their students about natural family planning
But hey, Catholic schools already do that. XD

Tagalog, or Filipino, words have a largely influenced by other nations: there are many indonesian and malaysian factors that play their part, there are even words from Spanish.

Depends on how you use it, though.
What does Indonesian "mahal" mean?
