I used to sing a lot when I was little, then something happened at school that ruined my singing voice. I don't sing unless I'm forced to and when I do I can never hit the right notes and it's frustrating. That's why I sing in a large group, so no one hears my voice.

when i was little i always dreamed being a singer and well i used to sing in school a lot teacher told me i was talented and she used to make me sing a lot i still liked it and well continued
then i was signed for a music school for talented kids where i really had a great time until they started getting more strict and whenever i didn't hit one tone right they made me sing the same song over and over and over again until i did it exact same as the singers notes after that a quit my dream of a singer...and well now i don't even sing so much anymore...
and really i loved singing so much since i could put all my feelings to a song i loved but after that school i can sing still but i don't even feel emotions anymore as i do it
its like taking your talent and using it as they wish if you're not as good as those celebrity singers they force you more and more until you get it perfectly right and i just wanted to sing on my own way not the way someone makes me

A friend of mine can sing really well and she loved it.
But then a teacher came and said she isn't hitting the notes and forced her to sing that again and again...
Now, she isn't singing anymore. Not even with me in her freetime

The poor girl, I kinda know how she feels
I mean, I'm not some talented singer who's being forced to sing, but it was more the fact I wasn't that good in high school and mine and other chorus kids' teacher was constantly wanting us to be "perfect" yelling at us to do it this way or that way, demanding so much of our time.
I would've quit along with almost everyone else, but thankfully someone got her put back in line before we hated singing, only wanting to do it for fun, while she wanted to originally make us sing so we could win some stupid contest.

This issue attacks many of us, especially hen we uave talent, but also a belief or disability.
I have Autism. And there are many singers and actors with it too. But whenever you have a record deal or movie contract. But the companies always end up doing this:
THIS GUY IS AUTISTIC GIVE US MONEY BECAUSE ITS TOTALLY GOING TO RESEARCH! not.
Or, THESE GUYS ARE AMISH AND ARE TRYING TO LEAVE WATCHWATCH RATINGS!
And that's why TLC and MTV should burn at the stake.
