Interesting choice to use Manga Studio. Does it have a timeline? I'm not terribly familiar with the software.

Sadly, it doesn't. (Since it's meant for manga) But it can make clean inks efficiently.
But the playing/sketching/animating is done on other software. (Photoshop for me)

Ah, cool! I figured it may have been another odd Photoshop case where they added odd features despite its namesake.
I do wish Flash's drawing tools were a bit stronger. But I find the clean simplicity of its animation tools appealing, and it helps that SWFs can be imported directly in to After Effects, vector and all, for easy composting.

Hmm...I love this so much, but it looks SO COMPLICATED. That's why I use Gimp for animation. It's a drawing program, but also has an animating thing on it.

This is great, but you can do all this by using Toonboom Harmony !
We have been using that in the Studio, working on Dora xD

yup! we use that too, well, for effects, but if we're going to work for key animation, clean up, in-between and DIP, we use toonboom harmony, and later use after effects on special effects, I'm not just sure what software are they using for composting, I believe it's Sony Vegas, plus sometimes, we work with Maya. In BG, we use photoshop.
