Description
1. Prepare the 3d models and their rigs for a few weeks or months. (Texturing is a plus)2. Pose the models. (If you're into porn, I know what you're thinking. Do it.)
3. Use the screenshot for tracing reference.
4. If you're bad at 3d, don't hesitate to adjust the drawing.
5. Finalize the drawing with colors and clean ink and such.
6. Tadaaaa, the perspective and proportions still looks awful.
7. Learn to accept that you're not good at it no matter how many ways you do it.
7. Screw it, you're done when you're done.
Protip: If the source image is yours, it's good to trace. If not, it's called plagiarism. But if you're tracing an animation, it's called rotoscoping. (Fancy name~)

Important note:
"How to cheat" =/= "How to learn"
If you want to learn, don't do this.
If you want to finish dozens of images efficiently, it's up to you.

Wait is this actually a 3D render 0.o
I am looking for techniques to create anime looking 3D characters, but this just blows my mind. And the colors . This is gold. I see you make visual novel art. Have you actually made a game? Would love to play it (with this epic art style)!

Pare, cheating happens all the time, even in the high-end studios.
Who says cheating is bad on this instance?

Not actually cheating, TV show workers and Manga artists generally use Ragdolls instead, but sometimes uses 3D models.

I'll probably do this method to mass produce animations. I've always wanted to animate but I never had the right... What's the word... Understanding of it. I'm going to school for 3D Graphic animations though, so this method for cartoon animations will do me wonders. Thanks. -late comment is late, I fave'd this last night but forgot to comment-

Oh, I'm so glad you support doing this for perspective and reference! I do this all the time for my drawings using MikuMikuDance(it's all I have ^^"...), and it makes all the difference when doing somewhat-hard poses. It really is helpful for practice(if you don't simply trace it), too. :3

I actually rather enjoyed this bit of advice. Nothing wrong with using a generated assist in your drawing, it's not as though you're blatantly ripping off someone elses layout and compositional design. That bit's all yours at that point.
Also, it's possible to plagiarize landscapes, so be careful not to derive too much of your drawing from your model used.

And if you're tracing someone-else's animation... plagiarscoping.
The perspective on the characters themselves is really good, though their relation to the background seems a odd... but then it's quite an odd angle anyway. Personally I think it looks fine, and for someone like me, it would take far less time to blag the perspective, hate myself, then get over it, than it would to create and texture a 3D model and background, just to mess up on the drawing part anyway.
Keep up the great work!
