I didn't like how everything had no consequence in the end. The way they set it up made it seem like Bill would actually escape and they would have to deal with him afterward. It was also disappointing how in the end the zodiac meant absolutely nothing the entire time.
When Stan got his memory back I thought that they were going to have a big twist with Bill coming back as a result.

Maybe they'll get a follow up show where we see those consequences.

Also, when Bill was dying, if you play what he said backwards he's saying
"xolotl, my time has come to burn, I invoke the ancient power that I may return"
Xolotl was an - I think Aztec - god who was in charge of; lightning, death, dogs, and TWINS! so.. yeah.

Well they are brothers, and their voices aren't too different. so I could see it being rather plausible that they could imitate each other

Why would he need to imitate Fords actor?
All the they had to do was have the actors switch places.
I.E Stans actor playing Ford imitating Stan
And Fords actor playing Stan imitating Ford

So that when the characters of Stan and Ford switched places they'd be able to imitate each others voices so that Bill would believe it was really them

yeah imitate but they sound exactly the same. so when Ford (who is Stan and vice versa) would still have his "own" voice they would not have switched regarding the voice. so before it was revealed they switched, I thought they didn't (because of their conversation you could have planned on it) because their voices were exactly the same. when "ford" had stans voice it would have been more obvious. I mean Stan who dressed as Ford having Stans voice. It's a bit hard to explain... Sometimes I wish people just could see/think what I think... >____< but anyway this is getting ridiculous ^^" Another thing: Cecil Baldwin as Tad Strange was there again! Yay

Well if their imitations were bad enough that we simple humans could tell who was who, then it would slightly less than 0 sense that a hyper intelligent ancient being like Bill could fall for it.
Really though, out of all the countless confusing and probably impossible things in gravity falls... are 2 twin brothers being able to mimic each other perfectly really worth this much thought?

I'm not watching any at the moment, but in my childhood I watched Dragon Ball (Z), Ranma 1/2, One Piece and such. All what was in TV ^^ well yeah I started FMA a few months ago but didn't finished yet. I'm a great CLAMP fan, they make great animes. For example TSubasa Chronicles and Kobato or xxxHolic.
