God, that was an amazing finale. Thanks for making me remember that part, I swear if *spoilers* if he actually lost his memories permanently with no way of getting them back, then this would've been a whole new level of sad.

I was so upset when this moment meant nothing.
Like, it's such a moving moment and you just make it worthless!

Well you have a big dramatic moment where Grunkle Stan's mind has been wiped. Like he sacrifices himself and it looks like things won't be the same, and... he just instantly gets better.
Like if you were gonna do that, at least like hint that his mind didn't get wiped, like that his willpower was stronger than Cypher's.
Otherwise either go all the way and have Stan be lost forever, or have his recovery be a slow one. Like if it ended on him having some hope of recovering his memory and it's just Mabel trying to re-connect with him, I'd be happy with that, but he just gets better.
So the scene is ultimately pointless. It's like you wanna cry and the show is like "SYKE that moment didn't matter just forget it. GET IT FORGET?!" it's stupid. >=T

well he wanted to be seen as a hero like his brother, to prove to ever one that he can be the good guy and help save the day, by doing this he proved it to the town, to his family and most importantly to himself, yes him getting his memory bake so soon my have not been the best whyΒ to go, but it the act that is most important
