Let me guess, the people on the left want a life with a stable home, money, shelter, the basic necessities and the people on the right want to do what they want and not be tied down by so many things so basically the two groups want what the other two people have in their lives leading up the the glass-wall that separates their to very different worlds that they live in the opposite side holding what they want. Then the boy and the girl find themselves alones separated from what they long for and each other. Thats my guess...
