what's the poly count? like 6000 tris? if it's higher than that I don't believe it's high poly for a helmet.

thanks man! Ah When I started i sucked a lot. You learn mainly by reading online forums and keeping at it. That's the best way to get good I think. Passion will get you there

lol it'll take a few years of dedication, but if you put your mind to it you'll get VERY good. The amount of time and effort you put into is directly proportional to the work you'll put out.

I got a lot of feedback that that was way too high poly so I dampened it a lot!

Now it's 1810 tris so I think that's a bit more low poly. Here's a wire of that.

Nice man, yeah the other helmet is definitely more on the game art side of the tri count. Poly's aside though, nice modeling man. The helmet turned out pretty sweet

wow again just amazing!!
can i ask if you only used zbrush, did you start with a basic sphere them modelled it from there, also what brush(s) did you use to get the armour to look metallic (hard and stuff), soz i'm quite new to zbrush but i'm starting to get the hang of it (fast learner lol)

Hey bro! Yes sir I did start in zbrush with a polysphere. I looked at what bungie had and just tried to copy it at first. Then I changed a few things. For this I used the clay tubes brush and flatten a lot, but if I were to do it again i'd use hpolish because this new brush is amazing. Hope that helps
