Interesting idea. You need some symmetry. The black and white kind of seeps over into the color side near the forehead. The eye of course is a very very unnatural color. I understand that some people aim for a more unnatural color to convey whatever their message is, but they forget that it still has to blend in. Make the unnatural FEEL natural. You need to work on your technique, but your creativity is solid. Though the "split face" idea has been done to death, it can still be an interesting piece if executed properly. I hope you can use this information to your advantage in the future.

I thank you for the constructive criticism.
My intentions were aimed towards conveying the contrast of substance in cause and effect/effect and cause within our inner emotions. Often enough, we see the darkest aspects of ourselves, however, from this darkness a light breeds.
In regards to the eye color, honestly, that is my true eye color. My black hair tends to contrast it well. I just upped the vibrancy a little.
All 'reality' is just the sum of human perception. We both obviously feel the color RED here, however, do not agree on shade. All that matters is to you that that IS the color red.
