holy crap, i thought this was photography at first..the car itself is extreeemely realistic.
Just one thing that i might suggest, do some shadow work under the car, it kinda looks like its just floating there. But other than that, its perfect

There is a shadow under the car.
You might not have the latest version of Flash player. Try clicking on the wallpaper version to see if it's different from the Flash version.

well, this is just me so don't take it as an important comment: I just can't believe that was drawn as a vector image and I highly doubt it was... is there a way to prove it wasn't filtered?

Well, you can zoom in by right clicking on the image, since it's a swf file. This might show you how I did it.
About filtering:
Filtering (in Flash, I'm not sure about Photoshop) creates random shapes of color, almost like the pattern of camouflage. If you look at the lines version that I posted, you can see that there are defined shapes like squares and rectangles. That couldn't be achieved by filters.
And I don't think that filters can produce gradients, which I used on the body.
