Description
This is the third generation main battle tank made in Japan, adopted in 1990.

The main gun is a licensed version of the German Rheinmetall 120mm smoothbore gun, and the overall appearance is very similar to the Leopard 2.

However, it has unique features such as an autoloader to load the shells, an advanced FCS with automatic tracking of moving targets, a small, high-powered two-stroke diesel engine, and an hydropneumatic suspension to adjust the vehicle height.
