My favorite episodes are THE APPLE and A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME because of the way Red Shirts were casually disposed of. They were like the teenagers in 80s horror movies.

Best if you start with the first, The Motion Picture. Then move on from there. The Motion Picture was a bit....well out there. Nearly every movie after it is solid depending who you ask.

Probably just watch JJ Abrams 2009 Star Trek movie. It's great. The sequel, Into Darkness is ok, better if you're not a Wrath of Khan fan.Β
