I would agree that they wouldn't be most people's first choice. But as one person posted below those two were my favorite female superheroines when I was a kid. Intelligence + class = sexy.

Barbara is pretty unflappable. With a best friend who can fly, bend steel in her bare hands, and deflect bullets (not to mention change costumes in a heartbeat ), it's kinda hard to faze her. Plus she's naturally awesome to begin with!
