This reminds me of a moment Thor had with Mjolnir (hope I got it right ^^) during the "Heroes reborn" storyline. He was alone, getting drunk in a bar, holding a giant glass of beer in one hand and Mjolnir in the other, starring at in intensely, and then said very sweetly "Oh Mjolnir ..."
It cracked me up so bad the first time I saw it. I was like "What's next, is he going to make out with his hammer? What the hell?"
This is awfully cute. Thor isn't one of my all time favorite for nothing XD

If memory serves, it was in the first issues, when the Hulk was attacking Avenger Island. Two artists were working on that run. I always found it funny how one of them was respecting the established design of Mjolnir and the other one gave it a freakishly long handle.
