I think in the sense of realism involving the two of them meeting. Yes, it is two different universes, but both of them have their own personality within these universes. Goku's not the type to start trouble for no reason, and neither is Goku. Upon confrontation, they do try to use words first before fighting their enemies. And, when fighting, they don't use their full power at the start of battle.
Indeed, I do feel that it would be a great battle, and I feel that both going at their maximum would be interesting to see. I've always been sort of a story person, though, so I always try to think of the possible reasons for them to fight anyway...
...but, that aside, it'd be a great battle.
