Description one night and two days to paint this. Posted the first part as a video on youtube, a time lapse. just completed making the second part vid today. its probably going to take me time to post it, its 188gb of vid, time to speed up and compress. this is the first time i actually recorded a full painting. its a weird process. anyway i was trying to stay loose here and just kind of wing it. hope you dig it

yeah im using fraps and recording 30fps. itried 15fps but it made my app PS choppy. the painting took 12hours of time to complete. ive been using windows movie maker to speed the film up and compress. im sure there are better ways but im cheap! the recording will be on youtube, maybe search launch pad i hope of launch pad speed painting. not so speedy tho huh! i'd love to be able to paint faster, thats what im working on now. from seeing your work it looks like your on your way there, cool stuff. link here btw: hope it doesnt give you a seizure i move the canvas alot.

Heh. 12 hours... I spend 2× or 3× as long (without counting breaks) when I come up with something as big as this. Very taxing, especially because I like to make so many pictures so quickly even though I know I can't.

But you know what, keep it up! It's just that to me, a 30-fps 12-hr record netting you some 200 GB, is unbelievable. And that's only ½ of the recording. I use a hard disk that's only ¾ as much, in comparison.
In short, my computer can't do one-shot recordings for 12 hrs.
