To be honest, I never really got into the Mortal Kombat franchise. Never liked the focus on exaggerated gore and the often rather bland character designs... But, nevertheless, for their newest entry coming out in the next couple of days, I might have finally found my entry point into the series. Not only does the game look pretty fun in the gameplay trailers I've seen, the new character design for their character Kitana is just stunning. It emits this great mixture of royal dignity, ninja elegance and underlying cuteness. I like that they went for cute in a game where usually brutal is the main ingredient
