what i had in mind is that their race is so advanced in that field of technology they have thought that there would be no need for "proper bullet" warfare.I pictured that only people outside the military who had that would be mercenaries and that sort.

Nuva Protodermis, being normal protodermis being energized through it's powerful liquid state, is one of the strongest metals in Mata Nui so far, able to reflect small attacks as well as beams of light if polished properly.
I also forgot to mention, good comic, excellent perspective in the background.
