Lore and Description:
Turion is a company originating from Vivallion (one of the southern countries which make up the Istarian Union) which has a long tradition of producing quality hunting weapons and other hunting equipment. With tensions rising in the world, the company decided to step into the military/law enforcement market as well, adapting several of their shotgun and precision rifle models for such uses, while also producing some entirely new designs. The Precision Rifle System is a radical redesign of a Turion bolt-action hunting rifle, which gets rid of the original wooden/polymer stock and replaces it with a lightweight alloy chassis with many parts that can be easily swapped out. The result is a highly adaptable and portable precision rifle system, whose effective range does not match the top-notch military purpose-built rifles, but which offers an interesting option for equipping a squad of soldiers with a longer-range weapon without sacrificing the mobility and abilities of the individual squad members. The weapon is chambered in 8 × 56 mm (a standard rifle cartridge which is widespread worldwide) and fed by an 8-round detachable box magazine. Standard skeletal stock is highly adjustable and can be swapped out for a different one. The weapon also features a built-in bipod, whose legs have polymer covers so that when it is folded, the weapon can be comfortably carried in one's hands.

Inspiration and Background Information:
The design of this rifle was inspired by various modern derivatives of Remington 700. Quite (in)famously, we can see similar rifles in the Modern Warfare series as a fan-favorite tool for quickscoping. 😁
