Very nice texturing, bump maps is something I struggle with. I have tried and tried I just can not get the hang of them or when I do they do not look any better then the original texture lol.

My trick has been to use decent quality textures from textures.com (the free ones are fine), to change them to black & white using Blender or Photoshop, and to just go back and forth adjusting the values in Blender until it looks just right. If you have a good image editing program, adjusting the black and white levels can be a good way to remove some of the unnecessary detail from the original image and to better bring out the kind of shapes you want to see. Place a light in the right spot and ... even if you don't see obvious light and shadow from the bump map, you should at least notice that your surface looks instantly more lifelike.

Keep working at it!

Thanks for the tip man. and yeah one of the problems I face is that where I am on only on a laptop I can not really use cycles engine very well because it has an onboard graphics card which is not supported by blender so it still renders off cpu when in cycles and I know that takes away a bit of an edge the cycles engine has over blender render but I am sticking with it anyway.
