Mikey is skilled in firebendinghere we have him practicing an ancient form of firebending used by the sun warriors called "the dancing dragon"
other forms of firebending has a lot of offense and little defense but the dancing dragon allows use of both offense and defense in a balanced way

and the Dragon dance form actually exist, but It was for Northern shaolin kung fu, I do martial arts myself

yep, Although the Dancing dragon form has been used in kung fu, Earthbending is based on Hung Gar (except Toph who uses mantis style), Waterbending is based on Tai Chi, and Airbending is based on Ba Gua
