This image was done after watching Star Trek: Nemesis.The planet in the background is supposed to be Romulus, with the Enterprise departing.
The background was done by Greg Martin. A very nice job, indeed

This is amazing. I don't know how you managed to get robbed of comments, though. . .this definitly deserves some. Got a couple questions for ya:
what program was used, and how exactly did you get the Enterprise to look so damn cool?

You'd like to know what program I used... I used 3DSMax (version 5, I believe)...
It's been more than a year since I used it, tho...
I should install it again and make some more Star Trek artwork
