Its like cosplaying, But as an animal.
Its a way to be your character, or a character.


As for liking part in short its what people like to do.
Its like asking why do people like to draw? Well cause not every person can answer for another person.

I dont think i can answer for the community as a whole.
I like to do it so i can interact with people, express myself as another character, and make people happy. Plus they're super cute. if you want to know why others do it you're better off asking every individual person in the furry fandom
