Description
The Mortisfangen is one of the 18 surviving gods of the Trinity of Nine. He is the god of vagabonds, patron god of the lonely traveler and the collector of miscellaneous souls.The Mortisfangen can only be seen by those who have been responsible for the death of someone close, or feel the overwhelming responsibility of someone's demise.
He is one of the three collectors that usher souls into the Beyond.

Well he's not supposed to be really imposing, he's just a sort of vagabond (also god of them), but there are ways to incur his wrath.

This is a dang rad god! Really like the idea behind him, and his design is pretty much the coolest.

Something about a hobo reaper holding his bindle like a scythe is hilarious.
like- he had a scythe, but the blade broke into pieces, so he carries the bits around like that and pretends nothing happened.

Well he doesn't reap really, he just collects. It's also one of his three titles, and he's known better for the other two in a more positive manner.

Not really, those who see him usually know why. If you were a murderer on the other hand...something else comes for you.

What if you feel responsible for stupid reasons? Like there's no possible way that you were the reason for their fall, but you've got some crazy mental hook up that makes you feel like it was your fault?

As long as you feel responsible you will see him. Though people can go entire lifetimes never seeing him due to he is only one entity. The guilt has to be oppressive enough for you to see him, though there is a difference in the pull he feels from genuine guilt and responsibility and the false feeling of responsibility some may inflict upon themselves. He can usually sort that out well, but sometimes he can mess up - in which case he just attempts to avoid that said person.

Thanks! And he's just kinda a person who does his own job. Those who follow him however have said that the offering of clothes and company by a bonfire usually curries his favor and gives you a blessing from him in the form of safe travel.
