I wonder who would win in a fight: the spartan II-s from Halo or WH40K-s space marine. They're both basically tanks so I have no idea

a standard warhammer bolter round is pretty much 50 calbiur, so likley the Spooce maroons. They have like, 4 lungs to make poisonous air breathable or something even?

Bolters are .75 caliber, not .50.

not only that but the standard bolt-gun uses rounds that explode a little after impact, never mind the advanced weaponry for basic tactical squads.. so yeah, as much as i love the spartans, the would be ripped to pieces.

If that's not enough, a melta gun will be.

Outstanding! Maybe the best power-armor model I have ever seen. It makes a lot of sense and I will be using this design for my personal universe. Thank you very much!

that's pretty amazing, i like the idea of the tattered script being used as a covering (they really use those for everything!)

How long do you think the surgey takes for an imp turning into an angel of death? :/

Adeptus Astartes are always looking bad-ass, but this... This... THIS IS MAGNIFICENT! Truly worthy of the Emperors interest!

Just fangirled over this. Your Space Marine art is wonderful and I love how you show what you feel is going on under the armor to make it work. Wonderful stuff man keep it up.

Seriously, I don't think anybody has captured the essence of the Adeptus Astartes as you with your art.
Congratulations.

This is pretty bad-ass! Minor nerd gripe, you forgot the Black Carapace lol

svstrauser In reply to QuantumCrab [2013-11-14 21:52:50 +0000 UTC]
He actually included the carapace on the art.
It's not strictly a carapace, it's an auxiliary nervous system, to which nodes are attached, as you can see in the picture, to connect to the Power Armor.

They talk about it being literally visible over the skin of the torso in the books....

Minor correction, from the Lexicanum:
Phase 19: The most distinctive implant, it resembles a film of black plastic that is implanted directly beneath the skin of the Marine's torso in sheets. It hardens on the outside and sends invasive neural bundles into the Marine's body. After the organ has matured the recipient is then fitted with neural sensors and interface points cut into the carapace's surface.[1] [2a] [3] This allows a Space Marine to interface directly with his Power Armour .
