I was initially mistaken it for a moon until I saw the title. and I am so stunned with the entire composition of the picture especially with the minimal background again! How I see it is the cloudy texture that is in deep red color mixed with black shades displays a very strong message of some turmoil. One can relate to emotional or a social, political incident he is dealing with. The same feelings are related to an eclipse. However the half of sun that is still burning stronger gives us the hope and assurance asking us to burn with the same passion and determination to pursue whatever we desire within the turmoil we are going through  

You should do something about this talent Michael. Maybe work on some series of such pictures that display deeper meaning hidden in nature's element against minimal backgrounds Looking forward to that gallery

I'm speechless again from your kind and warm comments..

and how you could see through me with just looking at the pictures..
i actually did get through something at this time but i didn't make any connection to why i did this picture and why it came out this way.. (btw, i saw a ghost in the reddish clouds, so maybe it did tell me something Unconscious)

and again you're right that we need to hold to this hope..

when you put it so casually that you saw a ghost, it reminds me of Aaron Goodwin of GA. He makes it sound very cool
