1: I've heard of the Rankin Bass Gollum, but not the others. You captured the 1977 Gollum very well, which surprisingly that design looks better than the others... save for the Peter jackson Gollum (which more fits my original view of Gollum when reading the book
2: I love you having Sherlock Smaug and Bilbo Watson (I've heard that these two actors are Sherlock and Watson in the new tv series, sadly I haven't seen it).
