Cool image. I assume hot air balloons don't generally go up at night. I've never seen one or even an image of one flying at night.

Other than the obvious issues of flying at night (visibility mostly) there is nothing that would hold a balloon from flying at night. In fact, I would wager that a balloon would be easier to get flight during dusk or evening hours because it would be colder outside creating a lift effect from the warm air inside the balloon.
