great picture. I can almost see a green light on the opposite side. Remind of 'The Great Gatsby' Enchanting.

How do you get such low-noise shots when shooting with such a high ISO speed?

But..there actually is a lot of noise..no offense to the poster. It's a good picture. Probably even better if you had the full resolution. Just saying objectively that there is visible noise. That's all

There is definitely noise, but compared to shots that I take at even half the ISO speed, there's very little. Maybe there's a trick to night photography that I'm missing

Well factors could include..
1. Camera that you're using (He's using a D800)
2. Noise reduction softwares used in the post processing

Helps to have a modern camera with a fairly large sensor. The D800 is excellent for long exposures. What camera are you shooting with then, Npm98?

First off, I looked up the D800 and I was blown away by some of the results. Sadly, I don't have $2,800 to drop on a camera body, haha!
As for what I'm using, I have a Canon EOS Rebel t3i with EF-S 18-55mmΒ f/3.5-5.6Β and EF-S 55-250mmΒ f/4-5.6 lenses, both of which with Image Stabilization. I've read mixed reviews about success with those lenses at night, but I'm not sure how much of a difference higher-end lenses have aside from (possibly) having a smaller aperture size and better sharpness.Β

This is so beautiful! The reflection makes everything seem really delicate and dainty, and so surreal! Magical
