I only played thief 2 on expert, the first one is too scary for me with all those zombies and stuff but I played it anyway xD and that creepy fireshadow guy...running around like a glitched game model

Ooouuu, to be honest, I've only ever experienced Thief 1 so far - I may give the other games a go sometime!Β My boyfriend has been playing through it with his friend recently (I'm actually too scared to play it myself, so I tend to just watch them play and shout instructions at them, that counts, right? XD)Β "SAVE!! REMEMBER TO SAVE!Β AHHH! ZOMBIES!Β RANDOM GUY.... ON FIRE, AAAGHH!"Β And other such helpful comments.Β
The atmosphere of the game certainly is awesome, really immersive, even if the graphics are a bit dated, it's still got very compelling and addictive gameplay, which Garrett's sassy remarks only add to XD I've seen some footage of the other games and played a tiny bit of some of them... maybe I'll look into them further one day!Β

I wasn't sure about the new game at first, but it's really growing on me now! (I can tell I'm getting to that "obsessive" stage as I'm doing lots of Garrett art haha!)

I agree with you on that one! I am a classic fan too
I was introduced to Thief pretty late, but I was glad I played The Dark Project first (was given it by a Uni friend and was totally hooked!) and completed them in order.
I do like some new features in the game (focus and "swooping" abilities) but I miss Garrett's trademark snarky and witty comments, as well as the guards. I never thought I would crave the word "taffer" so much!

really? nice ^^ I played TDS first and then decided to play the first 2 xD thief 2 is my fav, it has everything and Garrett is just ...
the design for the game is fabulous but the game itself...not so :/ my main problem with it is that they replaced Russell and the main plot..I mean primal energy? no mechanical eye? no pagans,keepers,...only small hints and symbols on buildings

It shows a small interview with Romano Orzari and I think it also shows a little of the live action shooting on set
I do think this is quite interesting
The loss of the Keepers, Hammerites and Pagans is quite sad. It's nice to see the reminiscence of the past, but yes, it would have been nice to see them

sadly I can't watch the video, not available -.- ...truth is that thief 4 is good as a stand alone game and kudos to Orzari for doing that job but the game lacks some important things which the series is known for
oh well, hoping for Β thief 5 and that it will be more successful if it happensΒ
