thank you! You should post yours, you did an amazing job achieving your image completely traditionally.

Thanks, man, I will! Probably tonight! The photo doesn't look too hot though. I wish I did a scan instead before I handed it in.

I like the idea and the results very much! If I may I'd ask two questions:
The number of riot police and demonstrators seem equal. This suggests, to me at least, that the symbolism goes beyond "oppressed majority vs the system" but in a more general good vs evil direction, which for some may be confusing since riot gear is commonly associated with the former dichotomy. Is that intentional? What sort of opposition were you trying to convey, which aspect of conflict?
Secondly, the paper cloud (which I find the strongest and most interesting part of the picture in general) doesn't seem to differ too much from regular clouds, and is (to use the words of the Bard) blowin' in the wind. That could also suggest that even though the writer is on the front, where the winds of change are blowing, his works are an important part of the background for the fight, but not the fight itself, since he finds himself above it (though on one of the sides). This is further supported by the fact that he is not dominating the picture. To be honest this is the message I find much more compelling and mature interpretation of the role of an artist in social change. But I might just be seeing things that aren't there; so again - was that intentional?
I am sorry I ramble so much about hidden meanings and symbols, it's just that I really like your style so I cannot say anything about the technical side of the work - for me it's perfect as it is But adding ideology to a work is always difficult, as each recipient will interpret on their own, so if it is intended to convey something very specific, the artist must be very aware of other possible interpretations.

Definitely liking the colours, and the theme. The message is conveyed very well, although I think the writer should stand out a tad more.

thank you for the feedback, You are right, my professor and classmates pointed that out as well, along with the paper mass coming from the typewriter I plan on adjusting it
