Okay, this is reika colored on the comp useing my neat little tablet. I know I didn't really do anthing special with this one. no fancy effects or high detail. but i think it still turned out neat. it took me all of maybe an hour to color this.Next i'll be doing a color pencil colored version of the same drawing. Expect much detail for that one..wish me luck on it turning out!

I know this is an old pieve, but I would totally get that tattoo as one for me e.e It's just...perfect. And I love the symbolism behind the tattoo.

Reika is the awesome-est!! but of coarse the little stake priestesses are pretty cool too, though abit on the more scary side sense they are all young, child-like even.
I'm tottaly excited about the colored pencil version of this Reika. I've just gotta find the right colors first before i really get started. and a small hand metal pencil sharpener would be nice to find as well, lol. Hate those electric sharpeners..then again i could always use sand paper. <.<

I think the art store near us has some of those pencil sharpeners like you're talking about. I got mine there^^ While the rain KO'ed thair paper section, all their colored pencils and stuff are still dry. That might be a good place to try after school one day, if you have the time. Or we could go one day before FF or something^^

oh yay an art store. we'll totally have to make a trip down there some time ^^. I wonder fi they are cheaper then Michaels. Mmm.. I hope they sell individual color pencils.

Don't forget to make the tomb stick out more. At least, that's what I think is back there. The yellow/brown....thing is a nice effect, but it doesn't do that poor tomb any justice. It strains the eyes... I'm going to need new glasses sooner, because of you.
Oh, and I <3 the tattoos. The shading on her palm could have been darker, but at the same time, having it light makes the tattoos stick out more.

yea, the tomb is back there. however i wasn't likeing how it was looking like, so i desided to blacken it all out and then sorta rederect ones attention in a diagnal, from thebrightness across her upper chest , down her arm, to her hand, and to finally the FF logo at the bottom..
In the color pencil version i'll actually have the tomb showing. i can do the effects i want by hand.
