OH theres a 3D rendering of the Dora Railway cannon here [link] In my opinion 1 train on 2 tracks dosnt make sense ecconomicaly but great concept though

the use of double rails reminds me of the buran launch vehicle. but they used 2 locomotives and didn´t not have a big one like here in your drawing.

In the early thirties, the Deutsche Reichsbahn had plans for a superrailroad kind of like what you've rendered here for high-luxury, high speed service between Berlin and Moscow.

Yes, I read an article about this a few years ago. Also germans planned special trains to transport ships of Kriegsmarine between Baltic Sea and Mediterraean Sea...
My vision of superail is connected with german super cannon, called "Dora".
