Well, I just wanted to say that. I'm particularly tired of fake low self confidence in women for the sake of attention and I noticed this trend you have in your pictures (the 2 that I looked at) where you bad mouth them to the point where I would swear you think they aren't either worthy of posting. It's like when a pretty woman says "I'm ugly" just to hear people say "Noooo. No you are very pretty."
Sorry for bothering you so much. Usually I just leave one (usually) mean comment and leave no matter what the retaliation is. I guess you're a special one.

There really are a lot of things I would like to re-do with this costume, but there are many things I love about the pic too~ I didn't say "I'm ugly" or "I'm fat" to garner sympathy, but I'm just stating that I'm still learning in terms of being a cosplayer and a seamstress. Everyone can see in the picture things that they like, and really there's no use saying what they can see themselves. I personally like reading the artists comments in other deviations and seeing all these behind the scenes things and what they went through to get that shot or make that outfit, it just makes the artist easier to relate to and enjoy their artwork better.

I'll cut down on the complaining in the future then, I really do sound negative when reading back.

I'm surprised you'd do that with such negativity from my end.
I just wanted to point out that theme in your picture description, although I was probably exaggerating and being harsh.
My initial reaction is just to be a total dick with the assumption that nothing I would say would change anything anyways, which is pretty foolish I guess, although probably correct in most cases.
One thing that just annoys me is that everyone always has the same opinion in picture comments. A typically short, positive and unproductive response, especially for more niched pieces like cosplay that most people won't bother looking at if they aren't interested in cosplay already. It leaves the comment section for any similarly niched work very...boring...Positive comments are great but without actual feedback than "amazing", "nice" or "epic!" you don't really get any idea on what you may want to improve on from the eyes of other people, and you don't actually understand what people specifically like about your work.

So, if you are going to do that, I will be more constructive with my offensive criticism from now on.

Haha, I agree with your point on comments. I always make a point to reply to someone who's made an actual comment on some element of the costume or photo instead of just commenting “SO KAWAII!1! UGUU".

Really I just cut strips of 10cm fabric (plus seam allowance) and them sewed them together. The fabric was stretchy but not the seams, so I had to fit it as I went along. What problems are you having?

Haha, I just sewed strips of different colored cloth together, the hardest part was getting the strips to match up. <_< For the transformation you could do the same thing just make it the same width all the way since they're legwarmers.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me a detailed comment! The blog picture was a pain, but it's nice to know it's appreciated! The jelly is actually just gelatin and food coloring, I have no idea how it would taste but it smelt terrible. XD
