Description
Kagome and InuYasha waiting for the birth of their first child (who is as yet nameless). Just so I don't confuse anyone, InuYasha and Kagome are not married/mated in the cannon manga/anime...just in imaginations of fanartists and fanfic writers.This was done with Sharpies and Crayola colored pencils. (One of the first colored pencil drawings I have done in a long time.)

This is beautiful. They both look so peaceful and content. And, of course, now that the manga has finally ended and they are together, you can be said to have been ahead of your time. ^_~

Since Inuyasha's a demon/human hybrid, I beleive that he may be sterile, as of the cases of most hybrids.

I know most hybrids are sterile, but that's why it is a fan picture. In my fan mind I see him and Kagome having a family. I'm not trying to be scientifically correct. Besides, sterility in hybrids comes from a difference in the number of chromosomes a species has. So, technically, if Inuyasha has the same number of chromosomes as a human, he could have cross-species children. But, since no one can test Inuyasha's chromosomes, it's a moot point. Besides, it's all in fun
