Obsequio 'sorpresa' paraTenia ganas de dibujar algo mas serio. Hace muchisimo que no me dedico mas de 5 horas en un solo dibujo xD
Y la idea del dibujo la tenia rondando hace un buen tiempo~ algo asi como el 'nacimiento' de Zero Two.

Wait, Magolor Soul has an eye in his mouth. The eye looks exactly like 0, and the Dark Mind boss of KatAM looks very similar in design, this really makes me want to check other recent games for 0, because this evidence makes him seem like the true villain of Kirby.

some Kirby games make me want to puke at first encounter of a boss.....

Zero, Marx Soul, Drawcia Soul, Dedede's stomach turning into a mouth, a twelve-sided die with an eye on each side, and the hard mode version of the Return to Dream Land villain... why does Kirby have so many of the more twisted and disturbing bosses and imagery in video games? Oh yeah, because the cartoonish art style lets them get away with it.
Great job on the Master of Dark Matter himself, Zero. I've always felt he had a bit of a Legion vibe (We are Legion), anyone else get that?

Mainly the reason most Kirby final bosses and villains are so god-awfully scary and traumatizing is because the theme of the Kirby games, I think, is dreams Vs nightmares. The games start out nice, peaceful, and joyful and kiddish, which Kirby reflects, but near the end, when the villains who represent nightmares enter the picture, the final battles become really scary and sometimes gory (Zero, Zero-Two, Marx Soul's defeat, and maybe others).Β
P.S. Sorry if I gave too long an explanation, just wanted to express what I think of the Kirby games.

I think you're reading too deep into it. But the basic idea is correct; they're bright and cartoony visually, so that gets contrasted with very dark villains.

Very nice; it shows a good history of Zero in my opinion. If you don't mind, I would like to use this image as a cover for a biography I'm writing on Zero as part of a project I am undertaking to help shed light on forgotten video game bosses from the past. I love this boss, Its Like one of the best bosses imagined, the thing i like about it is no matter how many times kirby defeats it it'll probably reserect itself into a much more Badass form greatjob on this it really captures its undying hatred for everything!

I use a tablet 'Genius'. Regarding software, I always use PhotoshopCS3.
