This is a fantastic drawing! The color and detail is amazing, and the shading and lighting is breathtaking. It makes Elora's fur and Spyro's scales look so smooth and realistic.
The grass and flowers around them give the impression of a peaceful area. And of course, the affectionate expressions on the faun and dragon is so endearing to look at. You can tell they feel strongly for each other.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy brought back a classic game, and it's wonderful to see there are artists to who drew inspiration from its beautiful new design.

I wouldn't be watching this artist if I found such things strange but the quadruped x biped thing is putting me off, as though Spy should be a more bipedal being.

Spyro is still young by dragon standards, so it's possible he can't stay bipedal for very long. Like that scene in the original Year of the Dragon where he mocks Bianca, he stood on his hind legs for a few seconds before going back to a quad posture. He'll probably go full biped when he's a young adult. Since he's 12 years old by Year of the Dragon since dragons lay eggs every 12 years during that event, 6 more years and he'll be bipedal.
