Okay, I just have to finally ask you-- what tools do you use? Those are both mechanical pencils, yes? What types of lead? etc. etc.

I love this, especially the star dust effect at the top of her hair. What media did you use?

Very beautiful artwork!
That thing behind her is rather creepy (I'm sure that was intentional). Β

This is really scary! But it's great! It looks so three-dimensional.

It's like an extremely creepy Sesame Street character or something.
This will look amazing once it's finished.

Amazing stuff, I really admire your work.
You've got quite a recognizable style. I've seen your work pass by on facebook and I immediately recognized this as yours.

Nice one. I have a technical question: the stars, do you draw them as negative shapes or have you erased them with a rubber? I am still trying to figure out how to do something similar for hairs and their highlights.

negative shapes, it's very time consuming but kind of relaxing once you get into it, very tricky to try to create a believable 'random'

Ah, thanks for the info. I tend not to be able to draw small details in negative shapes for some reason, mostly because lack of practice I suppose, but I I'll try again.
