So here we have Sally's new design after she gets derobotized. Now, after colouring this, I don't mind the outfit, it's new it looks alright, granted it's covering a lot more. Probably don't really need the gloves, that was one of the main things with her character.
Now for her actual look, she's too young looking and she doesn't have her muzzle any more, NO! But looking at the pic that showed her new design, it's a sketch, I'm pretty sure it's not the final design, considering the picture wasn't even inked.
I have to say my favourite of these 3 is the sega style (middle). It's Sally normal look but with the new outfit and it looks good, I really hope Archie go with a look more like that.
Well hope you guys like this and I'm open for commissions.
Also I need voice actors for a game I've been working on, I need people to voice Sally, Amy, Fiona and Blaze. Please PM me if you're interested.

I know this is old but...they're all the same style (they're all anthro). Only differences with Sally here are that she gets fluffier.

I honestly have no issues with this new look, though I'm not a diehard archie comics fan.
One thing though, does anybody else think their getting ready to do something with her? She appears to be getting an overhaul for no particular reason, which makes me suspect the people of SEGA have plans for her that require a look change. a game appearance perhaps? (although it may just be change for change sake. which is not explicitly bad. I mean come on, she's been wearing that vest for years day in and day out, isn't it starting to smell by now?)

Wanna know why she doesn't have cheek fluff anymore? look at all the female Sonic characters. Look at their muzzles. See any cheek fluff like Tails or Big have?

I'm not a generally huge fan of Sally, but I do like these three styles and the way you coloured them in.
Personally, I like her new Mobian design and clothes, and i'm not sure, but I think i'm the only person who reads these comics that doesn't care about the loss of Sally's cheek fur. But of course, from what we know, the design isn't done yet, and they may add more details to make the Sally fans happy. The Sega design in this picture looks like what this new design will look more like by the time Sally's inevitable deroboticization finally comes around. I'd like it if more detail was added to her boots, her shorts, vest and gloves. As for the cheek fur, if it's put back on her by the time the issue of Mecha Sally's unavoidable end comes out, maybe everyone will calm down about it, but if that issue comes and her cheek fur is still gone, then, oh well, all things, good, bad, big or small, must come to an end, right?
I don't know about you, but I think the furry-style Sally would fit into a DreamWorks Animation movie.

If anything, the Archie and SEGA designs should be the same, since she was drawn to look more SEGA Sonic.
Plus SEGA Sonic girls don't have fur at the sides of their faces.

Not really. See that's the thing with Alturnate Media. It is i's own thing seperate from the main entity.
For example Batman. In the comics he goes up against isane clowns to what ammounts to living clay. In the Noland Batman films everything is grounded in reality. The only real simularity is that Batman is in it. Comic fans have their thing and those that just want to see a Batman film have theirs.
SatAm and the comics are diffrent from the games as it had it's own supporting cast and and Actual plot while Sonic at the time was still run to the right and not to die. Yes there was a plot to those old gensis games, but that wasn't really set in stone. The only "rules" the comic should fallow is this: We have Sonic and company and they Fight Robotnik. Having a mandate throws off the story. The only really good example of a mandate that worked was we Archie had to so a Sonic Adventure tie in. This thing lasted like five issues plus one special and incorperated all of the elements from the game and well as gave the Freedom Fighters something to do than just sit around with the main game cast did there thing. Comic and Game = Diffrent.
