I have this headcanon where she has PTSD from her time with Vamdemon/Myotismon, who had enslaved her and abused her to the point where she repressed her memories just to survive. I like to think that this is a moment where she's recounting those horrible memories and the memory of Wizardmon's sacrifice and hits her breaking point, only to be discovered by someone she trusts and holds dear to her. She can finally let her guard down and let it all out.
