Description
There is quite the time gap between the two. I think that there would be a lot less "whoa" factor if I had redrawn something a little more recent, or maybe not.I tried to stay as close to the original as possible but there were a couple of things that had to be changed. Like the hands and the bow...I seem to be enamored lately with front ties/sashes/bows/obis...whatever.
What I think is really remarkable and funny is the dates of when these were finished.
As always thanks for looking with me back at my old art

I know, right? I pulled out the old picture after I was done... <-- this completely describes what I was like at that moment.

Hopefully, I like to see progression! I hate stagnating.

Nice work! I can see the improvement in your technique. I like how you recently handled the kimono.^^

Thanks so much! I've worked hard at it, so I hope I have improved a bit.
I enjoy drawing kimono (and the like) so I'm happy that I succeeded in making this enjoyable for someone else also. ^_^
