Description
Yay! First deviation of the year. This was sketched (mostly) back in October and was obviously meant for a Halloween submission. Time was not my ally then, but seeing as I am currently confined to my home, I was able to put this together yesterday.
You may recognize this girl, it is my OC Bellamy as the Pumpkin Queen. Original right? Well it was fun, nonetheless. I tried something a little different while coloring and I think the result turned out nicely.
Copic markers, a smidge of Gel Pen, chalk pastel (background), PS for color adjustment and bit of texture.

It always amazes me how people can do such awesome things with markers. Especially the details on her hair... wow!

Wow... you are very talented indeed with markers. I love how you did the shading and the highlighting, and the different textures all throughout the piece. It's a really interesting concept, too.

Thanks so much! I'm really happy to hear that I had some measure of success (its the first time I tried something like this). Experimentation doesn't always turn out how you would like sometimes.

You're so welcome! I love the whole originality surrounding this piece; it's amazing. But, you're right - experiments can be fun and annoying when they don't turn out the way you'd hoped.
