Sorry it took me so long to get back to you Kate... >_< I have no excuse really. I just fail.
Anywho, it's not a scar, it's something his kind are born with, and they all look like a letter from the alphabet, so that helps their parents name them. For instance, his looks a bit like a 'K', so his name had to start with that letter.
And I'm crackers, that's how I do it xD.
