Stunning work! I can't believe it's done in UF. I don't know how you achieve such clean lines.

Thanks Kaleidogal... it really comes down to matching the coloring method used, to the formula. I'd recommend firing up a basic julia set and checking out some of the more commonly used methods. Some go against the direction of each iteration.. you'll see here, some of the bars are perpendicular to the iterations.. some are parallel, and used for shading, or highlights. Striping is used to alternate colors, or textures etc.

Fantastic! Makes me feel wobbly when I look at the large size!

I've paired your wonderful fractal wallpaper with a poem by Elaine Sexton in my journal - [link]
If you would prefer that I don't include it, please let me know.

No no, by all means. Poetry + fractals = Good. I used to write poems to match my fractals.. I love stuff like that.
Thanks.

The simplest ideas are so often the best, and this was a very good one.

Thanks. Your newest piece, 'Revolutions', uses almost the same base as these. I used final decomposition for the gradiant work and just tweak the julia seed to line up the spiral. XD MMF3 Cilia set to cells (on bailout = to the formula) is great for making the edging seen in a few of them, like in 'onder', and 'linear' coil.

that's cool!!! I like to use the julia formulas in tma.I find they are interesting, yet not too 'busy'. Great to share ideas!!!

Indeed. One of my favorite fractalists of all time, Joseph Presley uses a lot of the .tma julias. They are great.

Thanks Ewa. I recently started watching a guy named ~illpadrino who does some amazing photos of staircases.
Heres a couple.. you'll see what I mean when I say he's awesome.

I really like the sense of machined metal on a giant scale - sort of like a 1930s sci-fi movie. I'd like to feature this on Jackrebel.com with your permission? Approx 450x300 copy of the image with links to this page and your gallery.
