Sorry for the inactivity, I haven't been very happy with my art lately, especially digitally, but I think I'm getting over it now. Also DA eclipse is terrible and I'm forced to use it because of my new account... DA, please change this...This was an old sketch that I decided to finish up quickly (I just wanted to finish something for once)
I tried getting it as close to Jared Pullen's Guardian references as possible.
I always wanted to draw how I think the first guardians would look, maybe even make a story about them if I can think of anything, idk.
I have the idea that Icklemar is a redeemed thief/conman/rogue who grew up in a criminal family. He changed his ways during the first war against the apes, wanting to help society rather than be a burden.
Also the name Icklemar came from A New Beginning's elemental level up menu, in the descriptions are names of what I've always liked to assume are dragons who either invented those attacks or were the first to perfect them. The attacks in ANB are really basic so I figured they'd belong to the first dragons to make them as powerful as they are in that game; the first guardians.
